Cell Group Training (Life Bible Institute)

What is the LIFE BIBLE INSTITUTE?

The Life Bible Institute (LBI) is the foundation of our bible-learning process (Exodus 33:13). It fulfills our need for a bible study structure in our own personal life and in the life of our church. The LBI is really a two-step process:

1.) Step one is the commitment to attend a " FREEDOM and HEALING EVENT".
This event is an intimate and personal encounter with God. This will be a time of powerful prayer, healing, dealing with spiritual bondage, behavioral addictions, emotional hurts, and experiencing spiritual anointing. To prepare for the Freedom Retreat there is a four-week bible study course to do entitled "Basic Beliefs". After Freedom and Healing there is another four-week bible study course entitled "Inner Life" to build on the Freedom and Healing experience!

2.) Step two is the commitment to go through"THE LEADERSHIP SCHOOL".
The school is a process of two bible study courses. The first course is entitled "Ministry" (see sample on the information table). It is a five-lesson study in preparation for ministry and service in the home-cell group. The second course is entitled "Leadership". It is a four-lesson study in preparation for leadership in the home-cell group.

What kind of a bible study is the LIFE BIBLE INSTITUTE?

The LBI is NOT a traditional or a typical bible study experience. It is not academic or scholastic... in that it is NOT tied exclusively to a class or study format. It is also NOT pastor-centered or teacher-centered. The LBI is our church's way of learning and experiencing real bible teaching (Matthew 7:24-27, James 1:21-23). The aim of the LBI is to teach and learn by practice and experience. Its two-step process (The Freedom Retreat and the Leadership School) are all experience and practice related. It is led through co-mentoring, co-modeling, and partnering. The format is flexible and variable to fit any individual and personal situation. The courses and lessons can be done one-on-one, or in gatherings of three or four... anywhere, in any place (home, church, work, restaurant, etc.)... at any time morning, noon, or night (daily, weekly, or even bi-monthly). The LBI is a LIFE-related and PRACTICE-centered bible study that requires persons to live and experience the word of God and not just know it mentally and academically.

How Do I become part of the Life Bible Institute?

1.) Join a home-cell group. The LBI is most effective there.
2.)Commit to attend a Freedom and Healing event! Follow the LBI process from
 there.
